FRANCOISE GALERON
The Song of the ogre
"Real things don’t frighten me, only that which is within the depths of me"
Francesca Woodman
I photograph the place where I live, its surroundings, and people close to me. With my camera I construct an experimental universe, personal, without any real intention to document. In this series I act as witness: actor and spectator of a rural family, which in its daily life combines a genuine strangeness and a suppressed violence. The framing, the lighting, are as much tools to help to decrypt my presence in the World.
